Legion Wargames grew out of founder Randy Lein’s early days hand-cutting counters for Khyber Pass Games and evolved into one of the hobby’s most distinctive publishers of overlooked historical conflicts. Rather than competing with larger companies on familiar subjects like the Bulge or Barbarossa, Legion built its reputation on unusual but historically significant games like All Are Brothers, A Glorious Chance, and Dien Bien Phu: The Final Gamble, supported by standout designers such as Steve Dixon and Kim Kanger. Nearly two decades later, Legion remains remarkably hands-on, with Randy still personally involved in assembly and shipping while expanding production capabilities and preparing a slate of new titles.
