Hi friend!
Resilience is often thought of as the ability to "tough it out" during difficult times, but true resilience is much deeper. It's about developing the strength to adapt, grow, and move forward, even when life feels overwhelming. And the past few weeks (the weather, the news, etc.) have all felt a bit overwhelming.
However, embracing vulnerability is one of the most powerful yet often overlooked ways to build resilience. According to one of our favorite vulnerability researchers, Brene Brown, "Vulnerability is the center of difficult emotion, but it's also the birthplace of every positive emotion we need in our lives."
Being vulnerable — allowing ourselves to be seen, the good, the bad, the ugly — requires courage. It's the willingness to show up emotionally, even when unsure of the outcome. This openness allows us to connect more deeply with ourselves and others, creating the foundation for a more resilient mindset.
So, go ahead and share what's been on your mind with the journal prompts below, and create some cozy vibes with our fav Fall items to read, listen to, and watch. Wishing you the space to be vulnerable and enjoy the journey. 🥰

~3 Journal Prompts To Explore Vulnerability ~
Journaling is an excellent tool for self-reflection. Here are three prompts to help you dive into your feelings around vulnerability:
What does vulnerability mean to me?
Take some time to reflect on how you define vulnerability. Do you see it as a strength or a weakness? Why do you think that is?
When was the last time I felt genuinely vulnerable and how did it impact me?
Remember a recent experience where you allowed yourself to be open and vulnerable. How did it make you feel? What did you learn from it?
What areas of my life could benefit from more vulnerability?
Consider whether there are parts of your life where you tend to put up walls or avoid showing your true self. How might vulnerability improve your relationships, work, or personal growth?
