Achieve control over whiteflies in Poinsettias by using an IPM approach
Whiteflies are significant pests for poinsettias. They feed on plant sap, which weakens the plants, and their excretion of honeydew leads to mould which further inhibits plant growth. Having an effective IPM programme can manage whiteflies by combining early detection with biological, cultural and chemical controls.
Fargro's Technical Specialist, Alex Matthews has created a video outlining a complete integrated pest management approach for growers to achieve control of whitefly in Poinsettias.
