The Results Monitoring Survey (RMS) 2024 datasets for Myanmar and Bangladesh provide updated evidence on the living conditions, protection environment, and basic needs of refugees, internally displaced persons, returnees, stateless populations, and host communities across two key humanitarian settings in Asia.
Covering nearly 4,000 households, the RMS datasets capture essential indicators across sectors such as protection, health, education, livelihoods, and WASH. Data were collected through context-adapted methodologies, including face-to-face and remote interviews, ensuring coverage even in hard-to-reach areas.
These datasets support UNHCR’s results-based management by tracking progress toward strategic objectives and informing operational planning for 2025. They also strengthen accountability to affected populations by providing high-quality, comparable evidence for decision-making across the region.
