This is a good time to get organised for winter as the seasons change and winter draws nearer. No too much longer and we will be back on the slopes skiing our hearts out!

We have officially released the Chill Travel Passes! The Chill Travel Pass comes as a 5 or 7 day punch pass that is valid for the entire 2024 ski season. It is a great option if you are travelling through or just want a taste of the Chill experience.

There are still some spaces available in our Four Day ASC2 Course, run with Anna Keeling Guiding. This course goes into more depth than the ASC1 course and provides further on-snow avalanche education, accompanied with classroom sessions.

Are you keen to have a crack at the rope tows this winter? Have a look at our selection of rope tow gear, including NZ-made, purpose-built rope tow harnesses, nutcrackers, and leather gloves.

For you hard-out bike riders, we are still full steam ahead on the bike side of things and have some ex-hire urban bikes for sale at a great price. They have been well-looked after and come with a fresh service! Come test ride one today!

Four Day Avalanche Skills Course 2 (ASC2)

The Four Day ASC2 course is aimed at experienced backcountry ski tourers and is designed to provde a hands-on appraoch to alpine travel and snow assessment. This course covers a range of skills and includes both classroom and in-field sessions.

This course is run in conjunction with Anna Keeling Guiding and we still have spaces left on this course, which will be held 5-8th September.

Ex-Hire Urban Bikes on Sale

The time has come to sell on our Schwinn urban hire bike (picture below) at a bargain price! They come in either a step-thru frame option or standard cross bar and are a very comfortable way to commute around Christchurch.

These bikes have been well looked after by our mechanics during their time with us and will be sold with a fresh service. Have a look online or pop by the shop to test ride!
