IRISH PUB of the MONTH
We head to Bethlehem, PA for Christmas and our December Irish pub. McCarthy's Red Stag Pub and Whiskey Bar features an extensive menu of Irish whiskey and fare. Monthly whiskey tastings & a whiskey club are features of this Celtic-themed pub. Originally opened as a bakery 25 years ago, it morphed into a gastro pub & whiskey bar in 2013 while still offering the desserts & breads of a traditional Irish Tea Room. Throughout its history, it has retained the charm & hospitality reminiscent of the family atmosphere engrained back in County Antrim.
COCKTAIL of the MONTH
Our December cocktail of the month is the IWSA Egg Nog.This holiday classic should be on everyone's wish list for Santa. Where else would we go for December but to Christmas, FL for our liquor store of the month? ABC Fine Wine & Spirits has multiple locations around the general Orlando area including this one a few miles from downtown Christmas. With an extensive inventory of Irish whiskeys, this is surely where Santa Claus and his reindeer will stock up on supplies while making the rounds on Christmas Eve.
