A Digest of Sundries - Vol. 41

Gratitude and Giving

If you’ve been following along for a bit, you’ll know that I usually shirk on the curation of the December Digest. Sometimes I'm too spent because of the busy season, but mostly I wonder if anyone is reading it because everyone’s inbox is exploding. This year, I am feeling good and in a groove, so here goes.

A lot of my energetic vibes are coming from reading The Overstory by Richard Powers. It’s an intricate tale wherein several people find their lives intertwined with trees. Firstly, it is one of the most gorgeously written stories I have ever come across. Secondly, the book’s message has gotten under my skin and I find my thoughts and approach to life shifting. I’ve gone to some silent meditation retreats that have had the same effect, so experiencing these altered states of consciousness from a novel is trippy and very welcome! As we head into a time of reflection in late December and January, I will be examining all aspects of Loyale and implementing tweaks so that I can further my goal of sustainability, ethics, and giving back.

With the spirit of giving top of mind and in alignment with our Linens for Good initiative, I’m offering complimentary Linen Gift Packages to those who don’t have the means to partake for either yourself or a loved one. It's anonymous and won't be splashed around social. Please fill out this form by December 15th at 11:59pm PST if you’d like to participate and we’ll look forward to fulfilling these orders!

While it’s been a year with peaks and valleys, it’s been a true joy to connect with you all. Thank you for your generous listening, feedback, and participation with Loyale in 2021! Happy holidays and stay safe friends…XOXO
