Over the coming weeks and months, we're competing in a range of big tournaments - and the preparations start TODAY!
IGL Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen:
"It's great to be back! We're startig today and just like we did leading up to Astana, we're diving into another online bootcamp. It’s all about putting in the extra hours and be as sharp as possible when it counts.
We're working on some changes and maybe a surprise or two, but I can't say too much right now, but we have a lot of work ahead of us.
The expectations from the outside will probably be a bit higher after our result in Astana, but for me, it’s all about giving it everything we’ve got and building towards something further down the line. I have a lot of expectations, but it can be demotivating and dangerous to set them too high from the get-go. Still, ofc we're going for the very best result possible!
In Belgrade at Fissure, the team situation is a bit unfortunate, but our mindset is simple: we’re focused on ourselves. The level is similar to Astana—minus a few of the bigger names—which means we see real potential and believe in our chances."
Head Coach Casper "Ruggah" Due:
"We're very excited for the new season – a new but familiar face on board, big ambitions, and plenty of motivation.
We’re building on the foundation we laid ahead of PGL Astana, but there will definitely be some new things for both opponents and fans to look forward to. What that means exactly… you’ll have to wait until FISSURE to find out.
Many of the top teams are skipping this tournament and taking a longer summer break, so it would be unambitious not to aim for playoffs as our first goal.
It’s going to be an exciting ride – so tune in and follow our journey with HooXi!"
