The “Lone Wolf” theory: A 20-year-old kid with zero assistance and zero military training bested the Secret Service and got into near point-blank range for a half dozen clean rifle shots at the president.
Cool story, Brah.
By 3 p.m. on Saturday, roughly three hours before the shooting, Thomas Crooks was at the security screening area for the rally. He first aroused suspicion when he passed through the magnetometers carrying a rangefinder, a device used by hunters and target shooters to measure distances when setting up a long-range shot, according to a senior law enforcement official briefed on the investigation.
Typical example of a rangefinder
The rangefinder would not have prevented Crooks from getting through the security screening point, but it did attract the attention of security personnel who kept an eye on him until he left the secure area.
Investigators are unsure of where Crooks went after he left the screening area but the working theory is that he went to his car to retrieve the rifle.
Crooks was seen in video obtained by Pittsburgh ABC affiliate WTAE pacing just beyond the boundaries of the Trump rally at 5:06 p.m., around one hour and five minutes before shots were first fired.
Around the same time witnesses alerted police that Crooks was crawling on the roof of the American Glass Research building, one of the four counter-sniper teams observed Crooks looking at their position through the rangefinder, according to the senior law enforcement official.
“They were looking at him while he was looking at them,” the official said.
Crooks gained access to the rooftop by climbing on top of the building’s air conditioning system and hoisting himself up, according to a senior federal law enforcement official briefed on the investigation.
Crooks fired at Trump from a rooftop some 150 yards away at the Butler Farm Show Grounds in Butler, Pennsylvania. And as The New American previously reported, citing Pittsburgh NBC affiliate WPXI, local cops saw the shooter almost 30 minutes before he opened fire.
Local cops spotted him, again, about 30 minutes before he nearly killed Trump, did kill firefighter Corey Comperatore, and severely wounded two other men. Crooks still wasn’t stopped, despite taking a position from which to shoot Trump in the very building in which local cops supposedly staged snipers.
Meanwhile, NBC reported that local cops were not in the building from which Crooks fired, as Cheatle told ABC News.
In an unclassified briefing Wednesday, law enforcement officials said 20 minutes passed between when Secret Service snipers first spotted Crooks on the roof and when he opened fire on Trump. Crooks was identified as a person of interest 62 minutes before the shooting, they said.
A Butler Township police officer attempted to stop the shooter, climbing up the roof to approach him, but Crooks pointed his gun at the officer, prompting the officer to retreat, according to Butler County Sheriff Michael T. Slupe.

It was at this point that Crooks began firing his weapon toward Trump, who at that moment turned to look at a Jumbotron, possibly saving his life.
A Secret Service sniper shot back at Crooks, fatally shooting him in the head 26 seconds later, according to law enforcement officials.
Around 11 p.m., Crooks’ father reported him missing, law enforcement officials told CNN. His father told agents that he believed his son had taken the rifle Saturday to go to the shooting range and thought he would be back by around 1:00 p.m., the sources said.
Congressman Cory Mills
Congressman Cory Mills (R-Fla) served in the United States Army, where he was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division.[3] From 2005 to 2009, he was a security specialist for DynCorp. In 2010, he worked as a maritime security specialist and anti-piracy adviser for Special Tactical Services. Mills worked as a security manager for Chemonics from 2010 to 2011 and as a senior risk manager at Management Systems International in 2011. Cory Mills was employed overseas as a civilian defense contractor.
He joined Pax Mondial LLC in 2011 and later worked as the organization's director of the information operations division and senior vice president.[4]
In 2020 and 2021, Mills served as a member of the Defense Business Board. He is the co-founder of ALS Less-Lethal Systems, a company that manufactures equipment for military and law enforcement clients.[5] He also co-founded and is executive director of PACEM Defense, a private security company.[6]
Here is what Mills had to say about the shooting, “I've done thousands of advances. I've done thousands of counter-sniper operations with our teams in you know, Iraq and Afghanistan, et cetera. The amount of negligence, the amount of mistakes that were made here, I have a very difficult time not being myself towards this was intentional as opposed to recklessness.”
Controlled Opposition Releases Fake Information
One way the enemy hides the truth is to fabricate fake stories that point to the truth with the idea that when the fake story is later “debunked”, all the other evidence that points to the same truth will be discounted in the court of public opinion.
We saw this play out following the 2020 election. One of the shocking revelations from Dominion e-mail was that they intentionally planted false voter fraud stories that could be definitively disproved into “alternative media”. Many people seized upon these claims only to later have their credibility shattered when what they thought to be reliable information turned into rubbish.
There have been many examples of claims made to election officials that a certain person was a “dead voter”, only to have that person show up very much alive. In those instances, the people making the claims had irreparable damage done to their credibility.
As applied to the Trump shooting, controlled opposition released this post just hours after the shooting:
This is a clever fraud aimed at destroying your credibility
It should be no surprise that nobody by the name of Jonathan Willis is or ever was employed by the U.S. Secret Service or any local or State police and also assigned to the Trump event. The two officers in the photo have been positively identified. Neither of them is Jonathan Willis and both are still employed.
Anyone that posted this or shared it or discussed it was duped and had their credibility degraded as a result.
Here are some key hallmarks that will help you spot frauds:
1. The information is posted anonymously
2. The information has key details that can be specifically fact checked (aka the name “Jonathan Willis”).
3. The information is highly scandalous and/or has high “click bate” ability
When you see all three of these qualities together, you need to be highly suspicious of the information and vet it with the highest degree of scrutiny.
Remember, we are at war. A 5th Generation war. The key elements of 5th Gen warfare are:
A. A war of information and perception
B. Targets existing cognitive biases of individuals and organizations
C. Creates new cognitive biases
D. Is different from classical warfare for the following reasons:
i. Focuses on the individual observer / decision maker
Admiral Chester Ward, himself a onetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations (one of the key Anti-American organizations that act as a front organization for globalists), discovered what they (the CFR) were about and worked to expose them. In 1975 he cowrote a book with Phyllis Schlafly in which he said:
“Once the ruling members of the CFR have decided that the US government should adopt a particular policy, the very substantial research facilities of the CFR are put to work to develop arguments, intellectual and emotional, to support the new policy, and to confound and discredit, intellectually and politically, any opposition. The most articulate theoreticians and ideologists prepare related articles, aided by the research, to sell the new policy and make it appear inevitable and irresistible.”
This mess is so far from what the founding fathers envisioned for a government. Will you help us set it straight?
We believe the American system of government, a constitutional Republic, is the finest ever developed by man.
We believe the traditional moral values of our Judeo-Christian heritage form the cornerstone of western civilization and that the family is the most vital unit of society.
We believe the free market system, competitive capitalism, and private enterprise afford the widest opportunity and highest standard of living for all.
We believe in the dignity of the individual. We welcome people from all ethnic racial and religious backgrounds judging others only by character and ability - as we wish to be judged ourselves - our common bond is a love for liberty and our rejection of totalitarianism under any label.
We believe that individual rights are endowed by our creator, not government; that the government's function should be limited to protecting our right to life, liberty, and property; and that individual rights are inseparably linked to individual responsibility.
The fight continues!
