Sustainability Sessions for Riverland Growers

We recognise this is a challenging period across the region, with ongoing pressures continuing to shape priorities for many growers.

With this in mind, Riverland Wine is hosting a series of sustainability sessions across May and June, with support from the Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI) and funding from Wine Australia's Regional Program - providing practical support, certification pathways and audit guidance to assist both now and into the future.

3 separate sessions across 2 days via 2 rounds - attend whichever, whenever suits your needs best.

Day 1.

Session One

FREE Refresher Training & Audit Support
11:00am - 4:00pm
A practical refresher session with a focus on Q&A and 1:1 support to assist certified members with upcoming audit preparation.

Includes lunch and afternoon tea

Session Two
FREE Practical Pathways to Sustainability

5:00pm - 7:00pm
Sustainable Viticulture information session with an overview of Sustainable Winegrowing Australia, along with other guest speakers and insights into:

Tools to support future reporting requirements
Minimising audit cost
Vineyard material end-of-life solutions

A casual session with light food and drinks provided

Day 2.

Session Three

AWISSP-VIT1 Certification Training

9:00am - 4:00pm
Certification training for growers looking to take the next step, with guided support and practical application. $50 commitment fee, we'll cover the rest.

Includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea

We understand that where time and energy are invested matters more than ever.

These sessions are intentionally practical and flexible, helping businesses continue building on requirements for obtaining and maintaining sustainability certification while reducing administrative burden and direct cost to growers, supporting operations with easy reporting of actions over time.
