ATLAS^®: A Guide Developed by feedback from the Rod building community.

We have been working on a carbon fiber guide for some time. We have tested many frame styles. The strength was there, the weight savings too, but we could not agree on a design. We made a number of posts requesting feedback from the community - the response was overwhelming, from Europe, US, Japan, and Korea, a durable, lightweight carbon fiber guide was wanted, but the frame needed to be slimmer, the insert thinner, and the guide needed to be matte in color.

·       Zirconia (Zirconium Oxide) Inserts (8.5 Mohs Hardness Scale) uniquely designed for carbon fiber frames. Impact side of guide has a higher insert lip, protecting frame and maximizing adhesion surface

·       1K carbon fiber, angle plied, frame for durability and flexibility (frame is tough, resilient, and has uniform flexibility in all directions preventing inserts from working themselves free over time

·       Unique resin is used which resists scratches and also prevents micro fractures from developing and propagating
