Friends and Fools Feldküche
23rd September 2023 Wild with Elif Oskan (Gül Restoran) & Markus Stöckle (Rosi Zürich)
The Rote Wand Hotel in Lech on the Arlberg is no stranger to gourmet experiences, but takes this to another new level with a series of “Feldküche” (field kitchen) events this summer.
These field kitchen pop-ups combine cuisine with nature in unusual places, with long communal dining tables positioned in remarkable settings by the lake or in the mountains, celebrating the best food and promising unforgettable hours away from the humdrum of life.
The next event, Wild, marries Elif Oskan’s (Gül Restoran) Turkish cuisine with Markus Stöckle's (Rosi Zurich) focus on Bavarian favourites, and takes place on Saturday 23 September.
Bookings for the experience are available with or without hotel reservations at the Rote Wand.

blooms at The Dolder Grand
June - September 2023 refined creations from the kitchen garden
The majestic Dolder Grand hotel in Zurich is known for its Michelin-starred cuisine - but it’s adding a whole new layer of culinary delights with this year’s outdoor restaurant, Blooms.
Located on the edge of the forest and nestled amidst vegetable beds and fruit bushes, this terraced garden restaurant celebrates the very garden it is located in, with a focus on vegetarian, vegan, regional, and seasonal dishes whipped up by fine dining chef Heiko Nieder and his team.
Ingredients come directly from the hotel’s own gardens, with a few other high-quality products sourced from local producers nearby.

The second round of the Zurich Design Weeks will run from 31 August to 19 September, celebrating the many facets of Swiss design.
The theme for this event is “Transition”, focusing on design as more than beautiful, and as a useful problem-solving process that generates added value and supports a world in transition, looking back at both past transitions and present concerns as we move away from disposable goods to a more circular economy.
Guests are invited to visit exhibitions and workshops, participate in discussions, and explore the many studios, stores, brands, and designers that have opened up their doors and processes to share with the world.
