Gray Whales of Magdalena Bay

One of the highlights of many guests' Baja's Bounty adventures is the trip to Magdalena Bay in search of mama and baby gray whales. The whales migrate to these warm waters for their nursery, and in this region have developed a curiosity about the panga boats that visit them in the bay. All precautions are taken not to approach, but it often happens that the whales approach us. Read about one such adventure from the pen of Expedition Guide Marika Powers, of Safari Voyager.
