Maybe you’ve already heard about CopenPay? The initiative rewards your good deeds by offering free or discounted experiences as you explore Copenhagen. What started as a summer activity in 2024 has grown into a year-round initiative, with rewards available at more than 90 attractions in and around the city. |

What your deed will be and the reward you receive are determined by each participating Copenhagen attraction. In this issue of Unfolded, I, Emilie, will highlight different CopenPay activities for every type of company. We have this on the programme: |

If you're travelling with kids, CopenPay offers plenty of activities and rewards that are fun and meaningful for both children and parents. |

The Open Air Museum: Help the animal care takers clean and care for the goats, sheep, chicken, and pigs before the museum opens. In return you can stay and enjoy their Summer Holiday program and the museum afterwards. This experience is offered on 8, 15, and 22 July. Please note that places are limited. |

Øresund Aquarium: Take the train or bike to the aquarium and get 20% off your entrance ticket. You’ll also receive 15% off the aquarium's safari tours, where you sail on the Sound and spot porpoises or seals. Please note that the safari tours are only available in July, October, and November. |

Garderhøjfortet: Arrive by bike, on foot, or by public transportation and unlock 50% off the entrance fee. Enjoy a full day of fun, family-friendly activities as you explore the fort, experience a live cannon firing, and discover history through interactive exhibitions. |

GoBoat: Join GoBoat in keeping Copenhagen’s harbour clean and earn a free boat rental by collecting litter from the water. You can also explore the harbour’s living ecosystem on a Bio Explorer Cruise Tour, where a captain guides you through hands-on activities such as measuring water clarity, observing biohuts for marine life, and removing floating plastic and litter. |

Øens Have: On selected Tuesdays, you can volunteer in the garden at Øens Have. Help with seeding, weeding, and harvesting while learning about seasonal urban farming and how to grow your own food. As a thank you for contributing to the garden, you receive a free cup of coffee or tea. |

Designmuseum Denmark: Bring a garment in need of repair and discover how clothing can be given a new life instead of being discarded. In this free workshop, you'll learn beautiful Japanese mending techniques and gain practical skills to extend the life of your favorite pieces. |

If you are travelling solo, CopenPay is a great way to meet locals and other visitors, or simply enjoy your own company. |

M/S Maritime Museum: Help preserve Denmark’s maritime heritage and enjoy 50% off museum admission. Join the crew in sanding the historic lightship, hear fascinating stories from life at sea, and experience maritime history up close. |

Danish Architecture Center (DAC): Join a guided tour in English, and learn about how we can build, live, and develop our cities with greater care. After the tour, you can sit down with guests and locals for a vegetarian communal dinner, and as a thank you for your time, you get a free drink with your dinner. |

Reffen: Get a free coffee at Reffen, Copenhagen’s vibrant street food market located on the harbour’s former industrial waterfront. It's simple, all you have to arrive by bike, take a photo as proof, and head to the coffee bar to collect your free cup of coffee. |
