COPENHAGEN HARBOUR PARADE
Copenhagen is surrounded by water, and all year round, you will find people enjoying themselves along the docks, harbour baths, and green spots next to the water. Once a year, the Copenhagen Harbour Parade will take place on the 11th – 13th of August, and the waters will flow with art installations, live music, ballets, and other performances – all on rafts and boats.
The event will stretch over three days, with different themes each day. The 11th will be a night parade, and the 12th will be an all-day event. The 13th will be a children’s festival. All three days are completely free of charge.

Copenhagen Harbour Parade is a very Copenhagen way to bring art into the cityscape. The artworks are centred around contemporary, zeitgeisty, and sustainable big-city life and will often revolve around modern-day dilemmas with a focus on humour, abstraction, and sensuality.

Welcome to Copenhagen’s most music-filled city garden. Right in the heart of Copenhagen lies Pumpehuset, an iconic concert venue, that every summer opens its gardens for music events, a good atmosphere, fairy lights, delicious food, cold drinks, and great entertainment.
The cozy garden has a stage that presents music from both national and international acts such as DJS and bands. There are often theme nights, such as queer, Eurodance, and orchestra nights. All you have to do is sit back, relax, and take in the music and ambience of Byhaven – or stand up and dance!

While there are mostly concerts in Byhaven, they have a wide range of other fun activities, such as karaoke, bingo, social dinners, flea markets and much more.

Grønt Market translates into “Green Marked” and is Copenhagen’s farmers market, which travels to a different location around Copenhagen every Sunday, between Refshaleøen, Vesterbro, Nørrebro, and Frederiksberg. Producers from all over Zealand, Skåne, Funen, and Bornholm show up to sell delicious specialities and produce.
The Market is, aside from being a place to buy produce to take home, also a place to enjoy food and drinks. There are often small educational lectures, so you can learn more about the origin and history of produce, including animal welfare and sustainability.
There is a big sense of community at the Grønt Market, as both visitors and producers are helping the environment by buying and producing locally, aiming for a more sustainable future. When you visit the Market, you are not only enjoying yourself, but you are helping small businesses and the environment. It’s a win-win situation!
Øens Have, which translates directly to the island's garden, is exactly that; it's a garden, on the island Refshaleøen.
Øens Have is an urban farm whose vision is to inspire greener living and to strengthen the interaction between the city, agriculture, and nature. And one of the best ways people are influenced is through taste and a sense of connectedness. After all, the way to the heart is through the stomach, right?
As the vision of Øens Have is to inspire to a greener way of living, Øens Have opens up every Tuesday for volunteers to get their hands on everything related to urban agriculture - sowing, planting, watering, weeding, harvesting, composting, building, painting, etc. So that you are best equipped to start your own small garden/balcony farm.

Everyone is welcome and you don't need to register. All you need to do is show up and join in for a great day.

ONE CARD TO RULE THEM ALL
We can quickly agree that there are so many things to do in Copenhagen. Museums, art galleries, parks, and architecture - Copenhagen is a city full of attractions. Sometimes so many attractions that it can be difficult to get an overview of all the places you want to visit.
Copenhagen Card is the official city card of Copenhagen, giving you free access to museums and attractions in and around Copenhagen and free unlimited transportation. If you're someone who wants to visit as many attractions as possible and also have the opportunity to experience Copenhagen Beyond, then the Copenhagen Card is definitely worth considering.
Copenhagen Card is 100% digital and works through the app "Copenhagen Card City Guide” for both iOS and Android. The app contains information about the city's best attractions - including opening hours - a map where all the attractions are pinned, and an organizing tool where you can "favourite" the attractions you want to visit.
The card can be bought via Copenhagencard.com or directly in the app. You can read more about the Copenhagen Card here and find the solution that best suits you and your visit to Copenhagen.
So, let's get this party started and have some fun exploring Copenhagen!
