Hello, and a very warm welcome to Florence St George's latest newsletter! Every two weeks I will be sharing exciting updates on our upcoming news, collaborations, and beautiful new ceramics.

Each newsletter will also include "Flea Bites" (Flea is the nickname I have been affectionately called since I was a little girl), which are snippets of things that have inspired, influenced, or energised me.

HENRY MOORE STUDIO & GARDENS

I was lucky enough to visit Henry Moore's studio this summer in Hertfordshire. It's a brilliant day out with the kids, and there is so much to do and see! Tip: Bring wellies. I let the kids buy postcards of the exhibition at the beginning so that they could run around looking for their chosen artwork.

WHERE THE CRAWDADS SING

I have just finished reading this excellent book, and as I lay in bed reading I was transported to the low-lying marshlands, clammy forests, and muddy plains (which Delia Owens tantalisingly describes in the novel), and part of me wanted to be there instead. Utterly alone and misunderstood, Kya, the young protagonist, finds solace in the natural world, making mud her mother and cure-all.
