With the introduction of the Epitome Bass, Steelhead Rods, we have been overwhelmed with requests about a two piece freshwater spinning rod - so our design team went to work! Weighing at 2.3oz, this is the lightest rod that we currently manufacture. Heck, it may be the lightest 7'6 ultralight two piece that is available.

Built on the NFC Next Generation X-Ray "C6O2" material - the resulting blank are 30% lighter than our X-Ray and 50% stronger. We are calling this Next Gen Fiber C6O2 which translated from its chemical formula means "Carbon Air" (C6 is the carbon element, and O2 is Oxygen, a component of Air)

The fiber for these rods is received via allocation currently, so we are making 100 available for pre-order at $295. All pre-order rods will receive a signed certificate from Gary Loomis, please allow up to 120 days for delivery. We are only setting 100 rods at the pre-order price, and the rods will show "Out of Stock" if the 100 rod mark is met.
