This month, marks the final Puppy Preschool graduation for the year! It's been a fun year full of unexpected but welcome growth and change!
For the first time in a long time, I got out of my comfort zone and travelled, not just between Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne, but also, overseas to the UK and Indonesia...this made me realise the importance of continuity in the delivery of Puppy Preschool classes; choosing to bring in Alyssa and Christine to help me has been a wonderful development in our Puppy Preschool offering.
Here are some of the highlights from 2024!

As always, I continue to engage with charities and non-profit organisations to deliver photography that conveys a story; I kicked off the year with another Dock Dog's event in collaboration with The Foreshore Vet and The Dock, to support ACT Rescue & Foster - who could forget Dinah, a long standing foster dog still in care awaiting her forever home.
Photographing veterans and their service dogs has been a key highlight for me this year; Integra Service Dogs Australia has undergone a large scale rebrand and I'm so pleased to have played a part in their new direction.
Additionally, the recent Clear The Shelter campaign with the RSPCA ACT saw over 60 animals find new homes in just one weekend! Thank you, to those of you who allow me to tell the stories of your animals, your work and your impact.

Working with vets is my jam, particularly in the form of photography and branding. I'm working with vet clinics across the country to build new brands, or evolve existing brands...I am obsessed with this industry and shining a light on what veterinary professionals do is really meaningful to me. I've recently signed on as a contributing writer for Vet Practice Magazine to showcase some of my clients and profile what they are doing in the industry. Thank you to my clients for allowing me to do this work with you and for taking a chance on me to help you build a brand that reflects your skill, your expertise and your story.
I caught up with Dr Abbey Main and nurse Rebecca Ah Him from Your Home Vet in Melbourne - albeit in the pouring rain! It was a total delight to chat with them about all things starting a new business and how they are taking their skills on the road, servicing inner city and surrounding suburbs of Melbourne with mobile in-home veterinary care.
Another Melbourne highlight for me this year, was photographing the Tooronga Veterinary Hospital Open Day! Seeing this sprawling state of the art emergency hospital, spanning over 1400 square feet, was mind blowing. The space is gorgeous and it was wonderful to meet and connect with the team at both Cyclo Group, Tooronga Veterinary Hospital and Animal Emergency Service. I wish them all the success for what lies ahead in the coming year!

My bliss point is The Journal; nothing gives me more pleasure than delivering this to you every month! I continue to be in awe of my colleagues, peers, clients and friends who are doing amazing work with animals and I love to profile what they are up to.
I will endeavour to meet, connect with and tell the stories of awesome people I continue to meet and work with...it fills my cup, which I hope translates to you, the reader!
