After releasing the SABLE EP last year, Bon Iver is returning with a full-length album, Sable, Fable, on April 11. The American folk band, led by Justin Vernon, spent nearly three years working on this album. It all began on February 22, 2022, when Justin Vernon, producer Jim-E Stack, and artist Danielle Haim got stuck at Vernon's newly renovated studio, April Base, due to heavy snowfall. Sable, Fable features collaborations with artists like Dijon, Flock of Dimes, and Danielle Haim.

In 1993, the British shoegaze band Seefeel released their debut and timeless album Quique, combining elements of ambient, techno, and shoegaze. Mark Clifford, the band's guitarist, served as the album's producer and mixer. As pioneers of this genre-blending sound, Seefeel paved the way for bands like Main, Flying Saucer Attack, and Bowery Electric. Now, Seefeel has remastered Quique and is reissuing it on March 28, 2025.

This spring brings an exciting selection of new releases across different genres. Melbourne-based instrumental band Surprise Chef continues to blend 1970s soundtrack influences with the funkier side of jazz on their latest album, Superb, recorded with a looser, more spontaneous approach for an energetic and playful feel. Experimental metal trio Sumac joins forces with Philadelphia-based poet and noise artist Moor Mother for The Film, a collaborative project that can be experienced live at the Roadburn Festival in Tilburg this April. Meanwhile, techno collective Sandwell District pays tribute to the late Juan Mendez with End Beginnings, a powerful album produced by core members Regis and Function, featuring contributions from artists such as Rrose, Simon Shreeve, Rivet, and Sarah Wreath. Lastly, indie-folk quartet Florist, known for their delicate and introspective songwriting, is set to release their fifth studio album, Jellywish, on April 4 via Double Double Whammy.
