Hi there CFC Family,

We are all trying to adjust to this new situation we find ourselves in. We are working even harder than normal coming up with ways to support Catholic families during this very nontraditional, difficult and penitential Lenten season (stay tuned for more resources).

Since we're not able to participate in the Stations of the Cross at our local parishes, we're going to bring the Stations of the Cross to you via Instagram and Facebook. We'd like to invite you to join us in meditating on one Station of the Cross a day starting this Sunday as a countdown to Easter.

Sunday marks two weeks until Easter, so we will finish up the Stations of the Cross on Holy Saturday. Make sure you are following us on either Instagram or Facebook (or both).

In addition, our team came together to gather and collect our favorite resources that we're personally turning to during this time of quarantine. See below for our list of recommendations. We’d love to hear back from you, too, of any resources that you are enjoying during this time!

PS: All of these resources are FREE

Saint John Institute: This ministry is ran by CFC’s very own spiritual director, Fr. Nathan Cromly! Fr. Nathan is a super tech savvy priest and has many ways he’s digitally supporting the people during this time. All will be streamed from their Facebook page we linked above:

Wonderful article on our current situation

- Streaming Mass (Too many to list! Here a couple options, but most local dioceses are offering this as well.)

Finally, here is a prayer for all of us while we are unable to receive Our Lord in Holy Communion:

An Act of Spiritual Communion:

My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the Most Blessed Sacrament. I love You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there, and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
