Superficial skin wounds, whether they be scrapes, cuts, or puncture wounds, happen to us all. Before the advent of OTC and prescription sprays, lotions, and creams, an old standby used by physicians and consumers alike was iodine and iodine cleansers. And boy did they sting when applied!!! Happily, homeopathy is a wonderful option for safely and effectively treating minor wounds. Here is a short list of remedies every homeopathic remedy kit should contain: Calendula: This homeopathic remedy is made from the common pot marigold and is wonderful for cuts and scrapes when used in a topical ointment, spray, or gel form. The Value of Single Remedies Made and Packaged in GlassMicroplastics are tiny plastic particles generally defined as being less than 5mm (about the size of a sesame seed) in length. They pollute environments worldwide and come from either manufacturing or the breakdown of larger plastic debris. They are pervasive pollutants that harm both ecosystems and human health. Health experts consider them dangerous because they physically accumulate in organs and can trigger inflammation and other chronic health problems. Washington Homeopathic Products is working to protect our customers from these harms. We are proud that we manufacture and package all of our single homeopathic remedies in glass – never in plastic. We hope to do the same in the future with our smaller collection of combination products.

Homeopathic Remedies for the Plants in Your GardenIncreasingly, homeopathic remedies are being used in gardens and farm fields. Three remedies often used are Aconite, Arnica, and Silicea. Here’s some general guidance on their use: Aconite: Can be useful after sudden wilting or drying out, and after cold nights if the cold has negatively affected the plants. Arnica: Can be useful after transplanting, pruning, or from damage suffered by root systems. Silicea: Can be used to help strengthen weak or sickly plants. How to administer: 12C potencies are preferable. Put several pellets in water, stir, and then either water the plants or mist them with the solution.

Historic Legislation Introduced in Congress to Protect HomeopathyLegislation to secure homeopathy's place in American life for decades to come has now been introduced in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate. This historic moment is the culmination of seven years of work. Now comes the hard part: Getting that legislation through both houses of Congress and signed by the President. That’s where you come in. Americans for Homeopathy Choice’s (AFHC) grassroots team, staff, and professional lobbyists are all working hard to move this bill through Congress. But if we are going to win this fight, they need your help. To read the bill and to learn more about it, visit the Legislative Update page. Please Help Americans for Homeopathy Choice Pass This Bill This bill cannot become a reality without your help and that of thousands of others who continue their efforts to help secure homeopathy for us and those who come after us. Most importantly, please write to your members of Congress by visiting https://homeopathychoice.org/ and, if you are willing, consider volunteering and/or making a donation to Americans for Homeopathy Choice. We can do this if we work together!
