Dry Eye Awareness Month is here!

We have an action-packed July in store for you: an entire month of dry eye focus like you've never seen before!

What to expect from The Dry Eye Company this month:

  • Dry eye stories will be a key focus (read about this below): We want to collect as many stories as possible and will be reaching out through every channel we have. And you can help!
  • Every day, a new awareness and education theme, which you'll see highlighted each day across all DryEyeCompany sites and groups and social media accounts. We'll be covering a wide range of topics.
  • Every week, an email summary of everything we've done that week, with handy links to all the new articles, here in KeratoScoop, as well as highlights of what's going on with DryEyeStories. These weekly emails (aiming for Tuesdays) will replace my ordinary weekly newsletters for the month of July.

Please join us! Scroll down for ideas on how you can be part of this effort!

Our Dry Eye Stories is a project that staffer Aidan Moore is taking the lead on - he will be your point of contact when you share your story. We are terribly excited about this - everything from the process of collecting stories to the impact we can have on the eye care professions, the industry, and even the FDA, as we aggregate our stories and bring the lived experiences of real life dry eye patients into focus.

Please consider sharing your story. Don't worry - you can maintain complete anonymity! We just need you to prepare your story, choose a screen name and answer a few questions. None of your personal information will ever be shared with anyone. We will use the stories to raise awareness and to make a difference, and we will use your brief questionnaire answers to communicate our needs to dry eye industry stakeholders.

Here are the types of products we stock:

A quick note from Rebecca

It's here, it's here, it's here at last!

July is going to be a veritable WHIRLWIND of activity. I am resisting the temptation to pelt everyone with emails and instead will be sticking to a weekly KeratoScoop schedule, with one exception - there will be two emails this week (today's, and Tuesday's). But if you follow any of our social media you'll see all the daily activity.

Enjoy, and please, help us spread the word. Most of all, please share your story. Together we can have huge impact.
